Cancellation and Refund Policy

Welcome to MyTripFirst, which is an influential travel service provider. As a prominent travel enterprise, we make sure that our booking services, cancellation, and refund processes are effortless. In order to provide remarkable and astonishing travelling experiences, we have kept our policies simpler and understandable. We urge our customers to read this cancellation and refund policy before proceeding with the cancellation to avoid further misunderstandings and confusion. 

Flight Ticket Cancellation Policy of MyTripFirst

In compliance with the cancellation policy of MyTripFirst, whether the customer is eligible for the flight cancellation or not will be dependent on the cabin class he/she has booked and the fare rules of the airline with which he/she is flying. The cancellation fee will be dependent on the same criteria, and we don’t have any control over it. Furthermore, all the cancellations are accepted until the flight has not taken off; once the flight has departed, we won’t be able to permit any cancellation. 

  • Most of our flight tickets are non-refundable for the cancellation made 24 hours after the booking. 
  • If a customer is successful in cancelling the ticket within 24 hours of making the reservation, we will grant him/her a 100% refund. 
  • The mode of refund will be the same as the payment that was done for flight booking. 
  • We won’t refund the administrative fee for making the booking. 
  • If the fare of your flight ticket and the airline allow cancellation even after 24 hours of booking the flight, we will refund the base fare (in the form of future credit) excluding the cancellation fee.
  • The future credit must be used by the person who cancelled the flight booking before its expiration date. Otherwise, it will expire and will be of no use. 

Cancellation for airline services

Most of the airlines nowadays offer various additional and special services for people with disabilities and unaccompanied minors so that they can make the most of their journeys. If you have made flight reservations with us and want to cancel certain services, we can cancel these services according to the policies of the airline with which you are travelling. Fees paid for these services cannot be refunded, as respective airlines charge for them, and we don’t hold and control over it. 

At MyTripFirst, we are not in a position to accept our customer’s request to select a seat, add additional services, upgrade services, or do seat modifications until and unless the airline confirms it. The customer has to wait until we get clear confirmation from the airline. 

Even if you book flight tickets from us (MyTripFirst), airlines hold and reserve the right to change special services without a forewarning. Also, we can’t guarantee that you will get seats or services according to the requests made, as airlines are responsible for the seat assignment. 

When cancelling a flight reservation at MyTripFirst, remember that you will not get the refund of the administrative fee or fee for selecting seats and adding extra services. 

Flight change policy 

At MyTripFirst, flight changes (date and flight timing) and changes of personal information of passengers depend on the flight change policy of the airline and the availability of the aircraft. The fee for such changes also depends on the same factors.

For different airlines’ different flight modification policies, we are not responsible.

At any given moment, the airline with which you are travelling can change your travel itinerary, and we (MyTripFirst) have no responsibility regarding it. For changes like date, timing, and destination of the flight, there exists a certain amount of fee (depending on the airline) that you need to pay along with the fare difference. Very few airlines accept and permit name changes, so it is advisable to double-check before providing personal details during the booking process. 

Refund Policy

Customers will be eligible for refunds only if they succeed at cancelling the flight within the permitted time given by the airline. If not, we won’t be able to initiate the refunds as well. We accept cancellation requests through various channels, including email and telephonic support, only if the ticket fare allows the cancellation and is eligible for a refund, if it is a no-show case or if the reservation was made through MyTripFirst. 

The administrative fee that we will charge per person will not be refunded at any cost. However, the refund amount will be refunded between 7 and 21 business days according to the airline. Our team will notify you through email once the airline refunds the money.
